Scope of Work & Disciplines

An audit identified significant numbers of units at RTIO’s Cape Lambert and Dampier sites in urgent need of repair, replacement and improvement.

Pindari’s multiple engagements at Cape Lambert and Dampier are predominantly based on addressing these issues:

  • carrying out disconnection and decommissioning of old APAC AC systems at reclaimers, power station and substations
  • installation of new units
  • fitting of new controllers and fire relays and alteration of existing ducts to suit.

In-depth product knowledge together with industry expertise within Pindari’s network ensure a considerable competitive advantage and delivery of ongoing reliable operations, maximum protection against equipment failure and continued improvement of sites HVAC.

Key Challenges

The lack of adequate preventative maintenance on the units has resulted in ongoing availability issues, reoccurring breakdowns and increasing cost exposure to RTIO.

The Pindari Advantages

Pindari understands the primary objective of any maintenance regimen is to maximise the serviceability of the assets and take proactive measures to ensure consistently high plant performance throughout the unit’s entire life cycle to minimise costly downtime. Pindari is an Electrical Contractor and building company with licenced refrigeration mechanics who audit existing infrastructure and develop effective solutions for executing planned and reactive maintenance for forward budgets.
